Billy’s second project, "The Man I Need to Be" was
recorded in Knoxville, Tennessee at GRS Studio in the spring of
2002. For this album as well as the first, Billy was blest to
compose seven of the twelve songs. The energy and message from this
album has surpassed the first immeasurably and we look forward to
begining our third project.
The CCMA released the first single "Straight is the Gate (Narrow’s
the Way)" off of Billy’s second project, "The Man I Need to Be" on
their Compilation disc #59, cut #4. Straight is the Gate rose
through the charts and landed at number 10 in less than two months.
In June 2003 Terajay Records released Billy’s second single
entitled "Shine On" which went to number 1 in less than one month.
Billy is thankful to all the DJs and listeners for playing and
requesting this song. The next single "The Man I Need to Be"
will be released in the summer of 2004. Please be listening for and
request "The Man I Need to Be."
